The Head of Household (abbreviated HOH) is the position of supreme power and control in the Big Brotherhouse. The Head of Household is selected each week during the live show. The winner of Head of Household is free from the threat of eviction. They receive perks, such as getting their own private bedroom, but are also faced with the decision of nominating two houseguests for eviction. (cited from Big Brother Wiki)
Each week, all of the houseguests (except the outgoing HOH) compete in the HOH Competition. The final 3 is the only time that an outgoing HOH can win consecutive HOH competitions. Unless there is a certain twist, the winners are always the HOH. HOH competitions fall into one of three major categories:
In these ones, the Houseguests are asked a question, and if you get it correct, you move onto the next level, and if you get it incorrect, you are out of the HOH competition.
In these competitions, the houseguests have to either get their object to a certain destination, or get the most points in an activity like bowling or pool, they get the HOH competition, and whoever is not first automatically loses the HOH competition.
These competitions are the physical challenges, where you have to outlast the others, or finish your physical task quicker than everyone else. If you are the last one standing, or the first one to complete the overall competition, they are the HOH.
The Final HOH competitionEdit
This takes place when there are 3 houseguests left in the house, ad these competitions are taken place on different days. Whoever has the highest amount of points after the three HOH competitions, they will become the HOH.
